OLLYEO COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Effective Date: 30 Jan 2026
Ollyeo exists to help people build real connection-safely, respectfully, and without drama. These Community Guidelines explain what’s allowed, what’s not, and what happens when rules are broken. They apply to your use of the Ollyeo app, website, AI features, messages, profiles, and any meetups or interactions that happen because of Ollyeo.
These Guidelines are incorporated into and enforced alongside our Terms of Service, Safety Policy, and Privacy Policy.
1) OUR PRINCIPLES
1.1 Be Respectful
Treat people like humans. No harassment, demeaning behavior, intimidation, or cruelty.
1.2 Be Safe
Ollyeo is not a security service. Use good judgment. Meet in public when possible.
1.3 Be Real
Be honest about who you are. Don’t impersonate people, misrepresent your identity, or scam.
1.4 Keep It Legal
Don’t use Ollyeo to plan or promote illegal activity.
2) GROUPS, EVENTS, AND HOSTING (WHEN USERS CREATE EVENTS)
Ollyeo supports two ways events can happen:
Ollyeo-Coordinated Meetups: Ollyeo may propose times/locations, create meetup listings, invite participants, and coordinate RSVPs.
User-Created Events: Users may create event listings and invite others (including within groups/communities, if applicable).
Regardless of who creates the event, Ollyeo does not provide on-site supervision or security. The event host is responsible for the basics of hosting and transparency, and all attendees are responsible for their own decisions and conduct.
2.1 What Events Are For (Real Human Connection)
Ollyeo is designed for real human connection-not one-to-one services, lead-gen funnels, or pure advertising. Events should create a shared experience that adds value for attendees (e.g., conversation, games, learning, exploring, community building).
Examples that are generally acceptable: - discussions that offer new perspectives - workshops that teach or practice a skill - group activities (games, trivia, hikes, book clubs) - tours and exploration - volunteering and community service - hangouts designed for group connection
Examples that are generally not acceptable: - events that exist primarily to advertise daily deals, pricing, or promotions - listings that function mainly as sales pitches, recruiting, or lead capture - “services” offered 1:1 (or framed as 1:1) rather than community events
2.2 “Host Present” Requirement (For User-Created Events)
If you create an event, you must designate a Host of Record who will be present at the event in person (unless the event is explicitly marked as virtual).
The host’s minimum responsibilities: - confirm the correct location and time - serve as a point of contact for attendees - help newcomers feel welcomed (basic introductions/structure) - coordinate with the venue (if applicable) and follow venue rules
If we receive credible reports that user-created events repeatedly lack an in-person host, we may remove the event, limit event creation features, or remove the organizer.
2.3 Be Honest and Transparent
Event and profile information must be accurate and not misleading. When creating an event, you must clearly disclose: - what the event is and what will happen - who it’s for (requirements, expectations, accessibility considerations) - any fees, dues, minimum spend, or required purchases - whether the event is affiliated with a business, brand, organization, or sponsor - any safety-relevant constraints (e.g., outdoor terrain, physical activity level)
Misrepresentation, concealed intentions, or “bait-and-switch” listings are not allowed.
2.4 Businesses, Brands, and Promotions
Businesses may host events if the event is designed as a real community experience (e.g., trivia night, class, tasting, workshop) and not merely an advertisement. If there is an affiliation or sponsorship, it must be clearly disclosed in the event description.
2.5 Prohibited Event Themes and Communities
We do not support groups/events that promote or facilitate:
Violent, dangerous, or criminal behavior (including buying/selling/trading firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs; weapons/explosive-making; vandalism; militia gatherings; calls for violence)
Hate or harassment targeting protected classes, or conspiracy theories that promote hatred or violence
Terrorism or extremist recruitment/propaganda
Targeting individuals under 18 (Ollyeo is 18+). Family attendance is not supported unless explicitly permitted by Ollyeo in writing and compliant with law.
Harmful misinformation (including medical “cures,” unsafe health claims, or financial guarantees/promised returns)
Misrepresentation or concealed intentions (including events created to deliberately spread false information or to spark controversy as a primary purpose)
Pick-up artists / seduction techniques / coercive “wingman” tactics
Sexual exploitation (including trafficking, prostitution, escort solicitation)
Pornography, nudity, or publicly shared explicit sexual content
Regulated medical or legal services offered as professional services through the event (e.g., a clinician providing procedures; a lawyer filing legal actions). Educational/community activities are allowed.
3) SAFETY BASICS FOR MEETUPS
Ollyeo may coordinate meetups (time/location suggestions, RSVPs, group introductions), and users may also create events. Ollyeo does not supervise events or provide safety services. Use good judgment, and take precautions before, during, and after any meetup.
Recommended best practices: - Meet in public, well-lit places. - Tell a friend where you’re going and when you’ll be back. - Bring your own transportation. - Limit alcohol and never accept open drinks from strangers. - Leave if you feel unsafe.

8) DO NOT RELY ON “VERIFIED” AS A SAFETY GUARANTEE
If Ollyeo offers verification features, they are intended to confirm limited account attributes (for example, control of a phone number or a selfie match). Verification is not a background check and is not a guarantee of identity, intent, or safety.
9) RESPECTFUL AI USE
If you use Olly AI features: - don’t try to generate abusive content - don’t request or share personal data of other users - don’t use AI to harass or manipulate others
AI output can be inaccurate. Use judgment.
